Symposium Description

Variable speed compressor technology is coming of age for scroll, rotary screw, and magnetic bearing centrifugal compressors. The speaker will delve into critical applications that employ the use of variable speed compressors for the precise environmental temperature and humidity control of Process, Health Care, and Manufacturing Facilities, as well as the piping and building control system schemes that can increase the system energy efficiency. Lastly, recent system specific advancements in Waterside Free Cooling, Refrigerant Free Cooling, Heat Recovery and practical sound control methods in air and water-cooled packaged chillers will be addressed.
