Symposium Description

ASHRAE recently adopted a DOAS specific metric MRE, Moisture Removal Efficiency. We will review the implication of this new standard and review applications that require a depressed dew point. We will also review industrial and commercial desiccant dehumidification methods and innovative make-up air solutions that will remove moisture and sustain low dew points without the use of mechanical cooling.
